Challenging puzzles in the dark...

Pandora's Gearbox is a curious indie puzzle game. It's another "physics based" game - so there is gravity, and objects can be moved about. The unusual thing about Pandora's Gearbox is that the action mostly happens in the dark.

Each of the ten puzzles here features a ball that you have to move to a red target. The problem is that the puzzle is shrouded in darkness. You have a robot probe with radar, that you can guide into the darkness to see the shape of things, and perhaps move them. Using trial and error, you "feel" your way around the puzzles, and manipulate various objects to open the puzzle.

To begin with, even though there are instructions, you'll feel a bit in the dark, literally. However, with a bit of experimentation things get a bit clearer. If you like challenging puzzles, you'll enjoy Pandora's Gearbox. It's never impossible, but challenging enough that completion of any puzzle is pleasing.

Pandora's Gearbox is a difficult, but well made puzzle game. Shame there aren't more levels!
